I know exactly what you mean. You pretty much described exactly what I feel. I know this wasn’t your intention, but you kind of made me feel a little better just because I’m not the only one out there like this. Thanks (:

    She means willpower …
She means willpower, the power of your mind over the urge and need to eat. They don’t care about the consequential physical weakness, which they may never fully recover from. The body actually starts to use muscle tissue for energy when it runs out of fat, so, yes, those with eating disorders are physically weak. Many have brittle bones, and lose teeth and hair due to inadequate calcium and fat intake. They don’t really care about whether they can take on a man. They’re mentally ill.

its weird though, i get what she was saying,i was once anorexic and i wouldnt eat I couldnt eat i might have a bite of something but thats it. Then after a full year of theraphy and stuff they told me i had to be hospitilized and be tube fed, and then that was kind of my turning point and it wasnt as physical so I could control myself physiquelly but not mentally. i stillthink im fat. I had the mind of an anorexic but can control my body. its just really hard to deal with.

by it’s own participants. Please don’t get mad at me for writing this as it’s ” not my fault” due to previous trauma(s)
